Eligibility Criteria for Nepalese Students
Academic Requirements
- Undergraduate: Completed 12 years of schooling, under 25 years
- Master's: Bachelor's degree (16 years education), under 35 years
- PhD: Master's degree, under 40 years
- Research Student: University degree, under 35 years
Academic Performance
- Minimum GPA: 3.0/4.0 or 75% overall
- No failing grades in final two years
- Strong academic record in relevant field
Language Requirements
- For Japanese-taught programs: JLPT N2 or higher
- For English-taught programs: IELTS 6.0+ or TOEFL 79+
- Japanese language training provided if needed
Health Requirements
- Good physical and mental health
- Medical certificate from approved hospital
- No contagious diseases
