Eligibility Criteria for Nepalese Students

Academic Requirements
  • Undergraduate: Completed 12 years of schooling, under 25 years
  • Master's: Bachelor's degree (16 years education), under 35 years
  • PhD: Master's degree, under 40 years
  • Research Student: University degree, under 35 years
Academic Performance
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0/4.0 or 75% overall
  • No failing grades in final two years
  • Strong academic record in relevant field
Language Requirements
  • For Japanese-taught programs: JLPT N2 or higher
  • For English-taught programs: IELTS 6.0+ or TOEFL 79+
  • Japanese language training provided if needed
Health Requirements
  • Good physical and mental health
  • Medical certificate from approved hospital
  • No contagious diseases
